CONCERT CANCELLATION

 


Orford, Wednesday, October 1st 2008 – Please take note that the concert MARVELLOUS COLORATURA presented by soprano Aline Kutan and pianist Michael McMahon scheduled for Sunday, October 12 at 8pm at Gilles-Lefebvre concert Hall has been cancelled.
 

The concert will be presented next summer during the Orford Festival 2009. The date remains to be announced.
 

Tickets holders can:
1) replace them for the Orford Festival 2009 presentation of the concert
2) replace them for the Natalie Choquette concert on Saturday, October 11th at 8pm
3) get a refund

Orford, Monday, Septembre 22, 2008 – For the first time in 57 years, the Orford Arts Centre joins in the Flambée des couleurs Magog-Orford celebrations and presents a concert of exceptional quality during Thanksgiving week-end. 
 
 
Saturday, October 11th at 8pm, Natalie Choquette comes to entertain us with her immense and bubbly talent in a concert entitled Enter the Dance!

You know Natalie Choquette as a singer of operatic proportions!  Along with the harp duo of Gisèle Guibord and Robin Grenon, accompanied by all forms of percussion, we invite you to get your satin dance slippers out to take a step or two in the wild world of Celtic, South American, Old European and, of course, Québécois dance traditions.  There is a wonderful world of surprises that awaits us with Natalie Choquette on stage.  Come one, come all and celebrate Thanksgiving Day weekend in style!
