ORFORD FESTIVAL 2008
Announcing an additionnal performance of
From Europe to America – 6 pianos
Thursday, July 31st at 8 p.m.
Orford, Thursday July 17, 2008 – In 2006, Olivier Godin and his pianist friends, the Orford Arts Centre’s accompanists, gave the Orford Festival a sold-out performance that few will ever forget. By popular demand, we asked them to join us again this year with a program created just for you. The grandeur of six pianos on stage is not to be missed.
The response has been so positive that all tickets for the August 1st representation are gone. The Orford Festival 2008 is proud to announce an additionnal performance of From Europe to America – 6 pianos on Thursday, July 31st at 8 p.m. with Olivier Godin, Claire Ouellet, Mariane Patenaude, Lorraine Prieur, Sandra Murray and Francis Perron.
Concert Program :
Leonard Bernstein Overture to Candide
Camille Saint-Saëns Danse macabre
Sergei Prokofiev Symphony No. 1 (Classical)
George Gershwin Rhapsody in Bleu
This concert is presented by Le Reflet du Lac newspaper.
