A fascinating story! Water is today as it was when our planet was born. It is not created nor lost, it simply changes form. H2O, the narrator of the story, has seen and heard it all since the beginning of time. In fourteen scenes, she will tell us about the most beautiful story in the world: the story of our planet, its evolution and the beings that inhabit it. The scientific and poetic content of “L’EAUdyssée de la Terre” will transport young audiences into a magical world.
It will provide them with a global approach to their origins while inviting them to question the future of our beautiful blue planet of which we are all children and should now more than ever take care of. “L’EAUdyssée de la Terre” is a hymn for life. This concert is a production of Disques Diamant Bleu.

This powerful history of percussion starts in Africa, the land of rhythm, where instruments resonate and music resounds. This animated concert takes listeners on a magical journey through percussion history, with stops along the way in the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. From African and Brazilian music, to the hip hop of today, these instruments transcend all cultures and time. Discover exotic and colourful percussion instruments like the kalungu, djembe, derbouka, tambourine, cymbals and apito, in this rhythmic concert experience! This concert is a production of Jeunesses musicales du Canada.
Organisers of La Semaine culturelle de Magog wish to bring art and culture to the forefront within local communities and encourage creative and artistic exchange. The Orford Arts Centre is a proud partner of this initiative and looks forward to every opportunity to reach out to the community both local and regional. We look forward to welcoming one and all to our concerts and applaud Magog’s implication in the arts and in the Orford Arts Centre’s young audience program.
